Ullapool High School May 2010

In May, we participated in the 'Forensic Science Day' for S1 pupils at Ullapool High School, as part of their Curriculum for Excellence. This is an annual school event consisting of workshops and presentations. Pupils participate in a crime scene investigation project which is used as an interactive way for pupils to learn about forensic science and to develop their thinking and questioning skills.

We held two school sessions, which were both lively events. Pupils were particularly keen on the scene-of-crime suits which we had taken along for them to try on. Quotes from the pupils include:

"I liked it when he set his sock on fire. GO DAVE!!"

"Ha ha to the guy who set his foot on fire"
