Science Into Action June 2010

Forensic scientists of the future

The team was back in action in June as part of the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute's Science Into Action week. About 120 fifth-year pupils and their teachers from three schools in the city - St Margaret's, Albyn and Kincorth Academy - attended the event, the content of which was adapted slightly to fit in with the school curriculum. The star of the show for the children was Dave Barclay and his fiery foot! Quotes from Feedback Forms include:

"Hope foot is still alive! Really cool! Nice cakes! Very entertaining and want to come again!!!"

"The fire thing was good & the food was nice"

"Thanks for the gear and a great show. Now if I do murder my brothers I'll have a better chance of getting away"
