BA Festival of Science, University of Liverpool, September 2008

Our inaugural Murder, Mystery & Microscopes event took place at the University of Liverpool, as part of the BA's annual Festival of Science. Well-known authors Val McDermid, Peter James and Margaret Murphy read passages from their books, which were then dissected by Dr Lorna Dawson, head of Soil Forensics at the Macaulay Institute, Professor Dave Barclay, retired lecturer and specialist in cold case reviews, Professor Sue Black, head of Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology at the University of Dundee, and Dr Phil Nobles of the Department of Informatics and Sensors at Cranfield University. Over 500 people attended.
