Overall project co-ordination. Specific responsibility for WP3 – Ecological Impacts- which involves close collaboration with Partner 6. Will provide staff and expertise to contribute to WP2, and WP5

Centre for Development and the Environment, Norway (UiO). Prof Desmond McNeill, Kristi Anne Stølen
Economics and anthropology research. Responsible for WP2 - Policy, economics & socio-cultural impacts – WP2 research team is a collaboration between P2, P8, and sub-contractor 2, with a PhD position contracted to P1. The wide involvement in this work is necessary to give the breadth and coverage needed.

University of Valencia, Spain (UV). Prof Javier García Gómez
Didactics and course development. Will collaborate closely with Partner 6 in development of teaching approaches for environmental education.
Partner 4
University of Giessen (JLU-KGGA), Germany. Dr Gerhard Schuler
Camelid reproduction specialist to support WP4, Biodiversity Conservation, and WP1 in the development of non-invasive techniques for assessing pregnancy state in free-living vicuña, and genetic markers using analysis of faeces.
Partner 5
Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC). Dr Cristian Bonacic
Research Unit specialising in South American camelid production systems, welfare and ecology. Joint work with Subcontractor 1 on systems development and welfare audits. Will act as the main node fore Latin American networking, being responsible for production of the project bulletin and Latin American conference.

Universidad de Lujan, Argentina (UL). Dr Bibiana Vila
Expertise in wild camelid behavioural ecology and environmental education. Contribution to project split between WP3 and WP5, for which UL is responsible.

Coordinadora de Investigación y Desarrollo de Camélidos Sudamericanos (CONOPA), Peru. Dr Jane Wheeler
National NGO devoted to the coordination of research in South American camelids. Will conduct work on biodiversity conservation with support from Partner 4
Partner 8
Johnston's of Elgin Ltd. UK (JE). Mr James Sugden
Leading quality textile manufacturing SME with long history of involvement in speciality fibres, including vicuna and guanaco. Will work alongside Partner 2 to conduct in-depth, industry-relevant market analysis, and assist in the development of trading channels
