Instructions to
authors
The idea of the newsletter is to
alert people with an interest in camelid management to ongoing work,
developments in the political arena, new conservation/ sustainable use
initiatives, and any other pertinent news. In general, short pieces of text
(200‑300 words) are invited, which relate to your work. However, longer more
in-depth contributions are also welcomed. These latter ought to be kept to
below 1000 words if possible, plus photos/graphs and tables. Though Wild
Camelid Management is produced by the MACS project, anybody with an interest
in Wild Camelids may offer a publication. Subject addressed could include,.
for example:
-
Research issues, context and
approaches
-
Progress reports
-
Discussion of ongoing
controversies
-
Latest updates
-
Research results
-
News about non‑MACS research
and political developments
-
Vicuna market news
-
and anything else you can think
of ‑ this is your newsletter.
Contributions can be in English or
Spanish or both. Ideally, there should be a brief summary in the other
language, but this is not obligatory.
Also, please send me lots of
pictures of your activities (preferably by email).
If you would like to discuss any ideas, please do not
hesitate to contact me. I would like all contributions to be emailed to me
by the end of March.
