Current research activities
Dave Barclay recently retired as Head of Physical Evidence at the UK National Crime and Operations Faculty (NCOF), sited at Bramshill
He is currently researching a PhD at Lausanne University on 'Physical evidence techniques in Cold Case Homicide Investigations'
His interests are: in maximising the use of all forms of physical evidence in serious crime investigation-Areas include management systems, data visualisation, and thinking styles as well as the use of physical intelligence. He is a visiting lecturer on a number of related University Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. He has been appointed Hon Professor at University of Hull December 2004.
