Current research activities
Currently a Lecturer at RGU in Forensic Science, specialising in trace evidence. Extensive experience working as a forensics scientist in the Forensic Science Service (link to FSS) (drugs and toxicology/general chemistry/RTA Alcohol Analysis). More recently worked with the Grampian Police Forensic Science Laboratory (link to GPFSL) - drugs analysis, and as a scene-going scientist. He now lectures undergraduates in the department of Forensic science and currently co supervises honours students. He also works in forensic consultancy.
