New Directions in Research in Grazing Ecology
Workshop Overview
This workshop celebrated the contribution to grazing ecology of two senior members of staff who are leaving The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute in 2003/4. Professor John Milne, Deputy Director of The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute, retires in March 2004 after 33 years’ service. Professor Iain Gordon, Leader of the Ecology of Grazed Ecosystems Programme has recently taken up new post in Queensland, Australia after 15 years service in the institute (August 2003). The workshop focused on taking a forward look in grazing ecology and the invited papers covered aspects from theoretical science to the application of research.
We would like to thank the British Grassland Society for sponsoring this workshop.
