Testing Models against Independent data and
Outlining Implications for Silvicultural Strategies

Objectives
To test models developed by the Project against independent data and to outline the implications for silvicultural strategies.

Methodology
The datasets to run the models derived under Task 6 will be assembled under Task 5. The representativeness of test sites will be tested by considering their position in a range of environmental data space. Predictions generated by the models will be compared with field measurements both stored within a geographical information system (GIS).
