The University of Aberdeen&The Macaulay Land Use Research Institutehave made a £0.85 m commitment to establish a major molecular biology-based research initiative in soil health. The ultimate goal is to improve environmental quality through analysis, monitoring and manipulation of the functioning and health of soils.
